Sharon S. Flores Obituary
Sharon Sue Flores (nee Schrenkel), of Lorain, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the age of 77 years.
Sharon born on July 26, 1948, in Lorain. She graduated from Admiral King High School in 1968. Shron spent many years providing food to Lorain City School children. The kids loved her. She retired from Aramark Corp. in 2016.
Sharon was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, and great grandmother who loved all of her family and friends immensely. To know her is to love her. She loved her dogs Tipper, Jake, and Peyton who brought so much joy to her life. Knowing Sharon is with her family in heaven and sensing the explosion of love she is receiving brings great peace to all of us.
Sharon is survived by her husband Pedro "Pete" Flores, daughter Melissa (Ken) Flores-Raccio; son Jason (Krista Neeley) Flores; grandchildren Christian Beaver (Ericca), Caitlin Beaver (Adam), Nathan, Brandon, Jadon, Jasmine Flores. great grandkids Aaliyah, Michael, Nyomi, and Braxton Flores; brother James (Erica) Schrenkel, sister Shelley (Richard) Englehart.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Wallace and Helen Nee Glover) Schrenkel; brother "Wally" Wallace Schrenkel, and sister, Cheryl Farsetti.
She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, and friends.
Her family will receive friends at Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, South Lorain, Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 11:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm with father Russell Rauscher of St. Francis Cabrini parish, Lorain officiating. Followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
