Shirley J. Noonan Obituary

We announce the death of Shirley J. Noonan of Lorain, Ohio, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 86. Shirley will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Turnage and Rosalie Turnage; her husband David E. Noonan Sr.; and her brother James Ira Turnage. She is survived by: her children, David E. Noonan Jr. and Judy Noonan Hyka; her granddaughter Melinda Noonan Falish (Jason); her great grandchildren, Ali and Kilee Falish; and her sister Edna Burress. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel (3224 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44055). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Abide Church (2280 Abbe Rd N, Sheffield, OH 44054). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Resthaven Memory Gardens (3700 Center Rd, Avon, OH 44011).
