He was predeceased by: his father Clayton "Babe" Higginbotham; and his brother Harold Higginbotham. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Higginbotham; his children, Chad Higginbotham (Rachel) of Lorain, Brian Higginbotham (Amber) of New Vienna, Kattie Mezlak (Jared) of Amherst and Tyler Higginbotham (Samantha) of Elyria; his mother Helen L. Higginbotham of Lorain; and his brother David Higginbotham.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel (3224 Broadway, Lorain, OH 44055). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
