She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambert Sands and Etta Sands; her husband Clarence L. Saling; and her sisters, Dorothy DeNoon and Ora Sands.

She is survived by: her daughters, Victoria Reed (Randall), Cindy Petitti-Walton (Brian) and Deborah Giebel (Ken); her brother James Sands (Carol); her grandchildren, Melinda Young (Rob), Ryland Reed (Lauren), Derek Reed (Krizia), Maranda Saling, Morgan Giebel-Cannon (Mike) and Brooke Giebel (Julian); and her great grandchildren, Landon, Ryder, Rowan Reed, Aubrey and Ashston Young.
