John leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. John’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew John will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juilius Simon and Elizabeth Simon. He is survived by: his sister Kathy Shephard; his nephews, John Simon (Mary) and Dan Simon (JoAnn); and his niece Laura Keefe (Don). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Hope Community Church (1101 E Main St, Louisville, OH 44641).
