He is survived by : his wife Helen Peterson; his children, Lyne Buccasso (John), Sandra LaHaye and Robert Peterson (Louana); his grandchildren, Kellie, Shelbie, Rocco, Marco (Mackenzie), Illiana, Greyson, Brinley (Alim), Maghara and Malaika; his great grandchildren, Zoe, Jaxon and Beckham; and his brother Ron Peterson (EttaMae).

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stier-Israel Funeral Home (917 E Main St, Louisville, OH 44641). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
