He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas III and Lucille Edwards III; his former wife Judy Edwards; his brother Terry Edwards; his brother-in-law Dale Harsh; and his stepson Scott Haren.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Edwards; his children, Laura Mann (Jeff), Jill Fraley (Brian) and Tom Edwards (Lauri); his siblings, Ginny Harsh, Rex Edwards (Donna) and Jim Edwards (Mary); his sister-in-law Carol Edwards; his grandchildren, Michael Mann (Kim), Becky Steiner (Nate), Kasey Fallon (Sean), Bridgette Bonavita (Dave), Jaret Fraley and Trevor Fraley; his great grandchildren, Parker and Aiden Mann; his stepsons, Mark, Steve (Missy) and Chris Haren; his stepgrandson Nick Haren; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Hazel. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
