He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Hines and Dora Hines; and his brothers, Doyle, Dale and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Hines; his children, Melissa, Michelle Smith (Ron) and Dallas Jr. (Jessica); his grandchildren, Brandon, Josh, Andrew Smith (Kayla), Jordan Smith, Jessica Smith, Kiersten Bolen (Josh), Tanner and Conner; and his brother David (Joetta).
