He was predeceased by: his father James Lovins; his siblings, James Lovins Jr. and Janice Wood; and his parent Delta A. Lovins. He is survived by: his children, Morgan Szczepek and Brandon Daugherty; his grandchildren, Brayden Lovins and Taylor Smyth; his siblings, Deborah Vance (Brad) and Mark Lovins (Vicki); his nephews, James Vance (Karen) and Aaron Vance; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, James Vance Jr., Andrew Vance and Noelle Lothrop. He is also survived by numerous relatives and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home - Goshen Chapel (1668 State Rte 28, Goshen, OH 45122). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
