He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bartl, Sr. and Theresa Potzner Bartl; and his former wife Jean C. Bartl. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his sisters, Carol Diehl and Patricia Sturm; his sons, William (Terry), Jeff (Liz) and Gary (Beth); his stepchildren, Ken (Sarah), Kimberly and Lori (James); and his grandchildren, Joey, Lauren (Don), Megan (Nick), Eric (Annie), Maribel (Juan), Nubia, Shane (Melissa), Tim (Mary), Mark (Mariz), Michelle, Chelsea (Tyler), Emily (Josh) and Kasey (Griffin). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (7701 Kenwood Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45236).
