He was predeceased by: his parents, Arna Mort and Lola Greene Williams Salyer; his siblings, Marilyn Oney, Joyce Oney, Irene Oney, Deloris Holtquist, Woodrow Salyer, Waldo Salyer and Curt Salyer; and his son-in-law Dave Fields.
He is survived by: his wife Hallie Mae Salyer; his daughters, Glenda Fields of Bethel, OH, Constance Helton (Harrison) of Salyersville, KY, Barbara Bryant (Rick) of Bethel, OH and Lola Jane Salyer of Loveland, OH; his grandchildren, Leah Fields, Krista Fields (Chris Phillips), Jeffrey Helton (Debra), Alison Bord, Joshua Dale Salyer and Kyle Lay; his great grandchildren, Trevor Dallman and Tate Lay; and his sister Billie Boone of Louisville, KY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
