He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Ryan; his children, Claire Edmunds (Madison) and Harry Getter (Lindsay); his stepchildren, Stephanie Westendorf (Brad), Chris Ryan (Lynsey), Kelly Gibson and Holly Newport (Jesse); his grandchildren, Jane Edmunds, Alice Edmunds and Harry Getter; his father Joseph Frances Getter; and his siblings, Joseph Getter, Francis Getter, Nancy Burkett, Rose Watson and Luke Getter.
