She was predeceased by: her children, Wayne Reimers and Roberta Horan (Chris); her sister Julie McAfee (Dick); and her parents, Robert Macke and Elvera Macke.

She is survived by: her husband Fred Barnes; her daughters, Rachael Angel (Patrick) and Ellen Irvine (Alex); her grandchildren, Madelyn Angel, Riley Angel, Abigail Angel, Aiden Horan, Samantha Horan and Deron Horan; her great grandchild Reese Horan; and her siblings, Drew Macke (Michelle), Paul Macke (Nancy), Rusty Macke (Cindy), Nancy Oldiges (Ted), Joe Macke (Libbey), Connie Fryman, Bob Macke, Tom Macke (Susan) and Mike Macke (Lynn).
