He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Burkhardt (Jenner); his parents, Joseph Burkhardt and Freda Burkhardt (Kremer); his son Rodney Burkhardt; his grandson Alex Jackson; his sister Judy Beck; and his siblings-in-law, Ed Beck, Marilyn Schnicke, Dot Diller and Pat Martin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lori (Ed Jackson) and Renee Burkhardt (Dugan); his grandchildren, Heather Cook (Brian), Tiffany Cassedy (Adam), Joe Burkhardt (Jessica), Amber Burkhardt (Blake) and Christina Jackson; his great grandchildren, Mariah, Natalie, Aubrey, John, Scarlett and Violett; his siblings, Jane Herzog and John Burkhardt; and his siblings-in-law, Kande Burkhardt, JoAnn Weyer, Jeanne Burkart and George Jenner.
