He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Mae; and his parents, Walter and Melva. He is survived by: his sister Lois; his daughters, Karen Girolami and Kathy Sabol; his granddaughters, Sara Deal and Becca Sabol; and his great grandchildren, Maddie, Ella and Claire.
