He is survived by: his mother Tolida Frances Barnes Mitchell; his siblings, Patricia, Donald "Keith" Mitchell (Sue) and Susan Long (David); his nephews, Robert Brotherton, Dustin Mitchell and Andrew Robinson; and his niece Karen Sharp.
