Melanie leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Melanie’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Melanie will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herbert and Doris Herbert; and her sibling Marty Herbert (Mindy Beard). She is survived by: her husband Tony Layman; her children, Andrew Layman (Anna) and Elizabeth Layman; her grandchild Elliot; and her brothers, Dennis Herbert (Trish) and Michael Herbert (Jodi). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
