She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Freese and Mildred Freese; her husband Joseph R. Helm; her daughter Barbara Fields (Johnny); and her sisters, Jane and Joann Freese.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Flanigan (Mark), Joseph Helm II (Annette) and Lisa Craig (James); her grandchildren, Dianna, Tony, Debbie, Joseph, Matthew, Kim and Mark; and her siblings, Louis Freese (Mary) and Patricia Sloan.
