He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Marchant and Marion Marchant; and his siblings, Ervin Jr. (Butch), Myron and Simone (Johnson).
He is survived by: his wife Brenda (Perkins-Merlock); his sons, Brad, Brian Marchant and Dwight Merlock; his grandchildren, Emily, Dawson Marchant and Anthony Merlock; and his sisters, Cindy (Kuehlthau) and Vera (Dan Lee). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
