He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Sims and Byrd Sims (Ellis); and his sister Susan. He is survived by: his former wife Kim Sims; his daughters, Amanda Hamel (Jason) and Bella Beckham (Max); his grandchildren, Jackson, Liam, Josie and Lucy; and his brothers, Bob Sims (Genella) and Scott Sims (Kim Fitzpatick).
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fernbank Park (50 Thornton Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45233).
