She was predeceased by: her parents, Casper Steven and Florence Cottrell Elder; and her husband Eulas Foster Braley. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Joy Sampson, Carrie Baker, Ashley Carter and Anna Rhodes; and her great grandchildren, Judah Sampson, Jaron Sampson, Zach Sampson, Lily Sampson, Emily Wittman, Alyssa Carter and Ethan Carter.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to the First Baptist Church of Milford, a community Sylvia dearly loved and faithfully served.
