“Learning of Tom's passing has turned this into a sad day for me. I first met Tom back in the late 90s at (what was then) ITP/Thomson. Early 2000s we worked together--I as editor and he as project mgr--on a course/learning platform. We managed to do a lot of work and have a lot of fun--and some laughs--during that time of high-pressure platform development. We kept each other sane. I thought him a dear friend and inspiring co-worker. I learned a lot from him. RIP, "Grega."”

“The world is a bit dimmer now that Tom is gone. He was always the light in the room with his perpetual energy. I am thankful that Tom was a part of my professional and personal life. Tom and I go way back to the late 90’s when he was in technical support for a project I helped create. Years later, when work started to dry up for my consulting company, he offered a lifeline on a product that needed some help. I worked on that product (and others) until I retired in 2023. Thank you, Tom.”

Tom was my manager at Cengage for a number of years, and what a great manager he was! He was so supportive and collaborative and always had my back. He was the best at managing things during a conundrum! He truly was the best and I'm so sorry to hear he's gone so soon. My heart aches for all of you.”

“Tammy, Kelcie, and the rest of your family. I just heard about this and I'm so very sorry for your loss. Tom was my manager at Cengage for many years, and he was the best! He was an all-around great person and couldn't be beat as a manager. He was truly a collaborator and cared so much about the lives of all who worked with him. He and I both left Cengage at the same time (2013) and we stayed loosely in touch during that time, touching base on our lives a couple times each year.”
