He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Spurgeon and Margaret Spurgeon (Quint); his former wife Phyllis Spurgeon; and his brothers, Johnny and Tim Spurgeon.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Ann Spurgeon (Frederick); and his sister Caroline Fitzgerald (Ray). He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
