It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Parks of Lower Salem, Ohio, who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Parks Zimmerman and Wayne Parks; his stepfather Delbert Zimmerman; his son Jeremy W. Parks; and his siblings, Kathy Weinstock, Thomas Parks and Daniel Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Parks (Binegar); his children, Kevin Parks of Marietta, Tara Place of Marietta, Katelyn Rathburn and Chelsey Rathburn; and his siblings, Sally Nichols of Waterford, Crystal Danbala of Indianapolis, Indiana., Bill Parks (Pawn) of Middle Point and Bob Zimmerman (Connie) of Lincoln City.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the McClure-Schafer-Lankford Funeral Home (314 4th St, Marietta, OH 45750).
In lieu of flowers donations to the funeral home to help with the expenses would be appreciated.
