He was predeceased by: his parents, Reece Barrett and Elsie Barrett; his wife Pat (Yingling); his sister Alice Stockdale (Lowell); his brother-in-law David Yingling (Karen); and his pet Gracie.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff Barrett (Robin) and Jonathan Barrett (Vanessa); his grandchildren, Cole Barrett (Hayley), Emily Priest (Taylor), Nate Barrett (Phyllis), Grant Barrett (Maggie) and Hope Barrett (Peyton); his great grandchildren, Lila and Ellie Priest; his sister Pat Clever (Ken); and his close friends, Richard Partin, John Kelner, Phil Holloway and Dean Iceman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
