He is survived by: his wife Bernadine "Bernie" Griffey; his sons, Shane Griffey (Susan) and Chad Griffey (Tami); his grandchildren, Wyatt, Emma, Will, Katie, Faith and Paul; his brother Jim Kanable (Rachel); his cousin Carol "Dolly" Bloodheart; and his close friends, Randy Renz and Jerry Duncan.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Lexington Avenue Chapel (2553 Lexington Ave, Mansfield, OH 44904). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Little Washington Cemetery.
