He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hickson and Catherine Hickson; his siblings, David Hickson and Marilynn Cleland (Hickson); his son-in-law Jean Sanchez; and his grandson Alexandre Sanchez.

He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Sanchez (Hickson), Karena (Hickson) and Singh (Nannu Singh); his grandchildren, Cameron Sanchez (Mary Beth Schmidt), Gabriel Sanchez (Giuliana Sanchez), Javin Hickson-Singh and Raina Hickson-Singh; his great grandchild John Sanchez; and his sister Luann Bay (Hickson).

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at 4050 Bromfield Rd, Lucas, OH 44843.
