She was predeceased by : her parents, Taylor Henson and Ina Henson; her husband Grover Cleveland Riggs; and her sons, Kenny, Danny, Grover, David and Charles.

She is survived by : her children, Gary L. Riggs, Chad B. Riggs (Amber), James Avery Riggs (Sandy), Troy A. Riggs (Stacey), Elias E. Riggs (Tina), Johnny M. Riggs (Dana), Olivia S. Robertson, Betty L. Hale (Ron), Beth Y. Van Houten, Janice E. Noel (Kenny), Connie B. Lewis, J. Rebecca Pettigrew and Melissa C. Sammons (Bear).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rubyville Community Church (5365 OH-139, Portsmouth, OH 45662). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
