He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Evans and Elizabeth Evans (Salyers); his wife Marie Evans (Adkins); his son Randy Evans; and his siblings, Johnny Evans, Talmadge Evans, William Evans, Frank Evans, Kenneth Evans, Pearl Lewis and Winnola Brown.
He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Adkins (Boyd) and Loretta Coleman (Joe); his grandchildren, Christy Savage (Nick), Amanda Adams (Johnny), Jeremy Preston (Shalisha), Brittany Havens (Gabe) and Ryan Evans; and his siblings, James Evans and Thelma Ruggles. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
