He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Lee Lute and Margaret O'Dell Lute; his sister Patricia Messer; his nieces, Emma Lute and Rachel Lute; and his grandparents, Francis Lute (Emma) and Eugene O'Dell (Molly).
He is survived by: his son Jared Lute (Amy) of Lucasville; his siblings, Lesa Natoli of Waverly, Kimberly Lute (Scott Whitinger) of McDermott and Gregory Lute (Carol) of Otway; his father-in-law Arnold Matthews (Janet) of Lucasville; his siblings-in-law, Albert Messer of McDermott and Suzy Park (Sam) of Lucasville; his nieces and nephews, Katie Sowards, David Hummel, Stephanie Conley, Amy Messer of Alan Messer, T. C, Jones, Lilly Crabtree, Grayson Crabtree, Dacion Crabtree (Brandy) and Jacob Lute; and his pet Shawnee. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins.
