He was predeceased by: his parents, William Phipps and Elizabeth Sparks Phipps. He is survived by: his wife Terry Williams Phipps; his stepchildren, Chris Rhoden, Matt Rhoden and Crystal Rhoden; and his siblings, Roy Phipps and Bonnie Phipps. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
