He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Franklin Crabtree and Deborah Mae McClary Crabtree of Lucasville; and his grandparents, Jim McClary (Emma) and Katherine Altman. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Crabtree (Jocelyn Pettit) of Sciotoville and Melina Crabtree (Hunter Russell) of Raceland, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Deja Newton, Daxton Newton, Mylah Russell, Jenson Russell, Hailie Mae Crabtree, Jordynn Stanley, Jaelyn Pettit and Conway Evans; and his siblings, Willie Crabtree (Stephanie) of Otway and Pam Bayless (Michael) of Lucasville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; three special great nieces; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home - Otway (6500 OH-348, Otway, OH 45657). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at the Cooper Cemetery.
The family respectfully requests that donations be made directly to the funeral home in lieu of flowers to help with funeral expenses.
