He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Bahnsen; his children, Karen Williams (Chas) and Larry Downey (Beth); and his siblings, Arthur Downey, Lee Hughlet, Louise Davis, Ruth Armstrong and Lois Hughlet.
He is survived by: his children, David Downey (Emma), Bruce Downey of Haskins, Todd Eaton and Tonya Eaton-Orth; and his brother Edward Hughlet (Leslie). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
