She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry D. Steel and Edith M. Steel (Williams); her daughter Ann Wengert; her sister Margaret; and her siblings-in-law, Clinton Hutson and Ruth Ann Manges.
She is survived by: her husband David J. Wengert; her daughters, Mary Barker (Steven) of Cuyahoga Falls, OH and Katrina Wengert of Silver Spring, MD; her granddaughters, Elliote and Cameron Barker; and her sister-in-law Sharon Cornell (Neil). She is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews, and numerous grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 3:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Troy Township Cemetery (525 Krotzer Ave, Luckey, OH 43443). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home (110 Main St, Luckey, OH 43443).
