He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollie Tedrick and Norma Lucille Hawk Tedrick; his granddaughter Kari Jean Brooks; his great grandchild Carter Tedrick; his sister Iolene Buchreitz; and his parents-in-law, Alton and Fannie Bell Wilkey.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Wilkey Tedrick; his children, John Tedrick (Evelyn) of Lynchburg, Ronald Tedrick (Trudy) of Lynchburg, Sherry Hertenstein (Jack) of Lynchburg and Diana Puckett of San Antonio, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Wilma Kay Stone and Donnie Wilkey. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren.
