He was predeceased by : his wife Carolyn M.; his son David; and his parents, Mitchel Fiktus and Laura Fiktus. He is survived by : his children, Donna Campbell, Richard, Sally, Robert, Gary and James (Desiree); his grandchildren, Candace, Amanda (Eli), Valerie, Samantha, Kaitlin, Thomas, Sarah, Hannah, Melissa, Hailey, Leah, Brittany (Salvatore) and Jacob; and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Emmett, Ezra, Madelynn and Sienna.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Nosek-McCreery Funeral Home (8150 Brecksville Rd, Brecksville, OH 44141). A prayer was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (9080 Shepard Rd, Macedonia, OH 44056).
