He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Hollis and Shirley Hollis; his wife Cheryl Hollis (Snyder); and his sister Kathleen Zolo (Hollis). He is survived by: his children, Holly Hollis, Chad Chan (Phil), Jill Wadley (Chris) and Stephanie Wodrig (Jesse); his grandchildren, Alex, Nicholas, Tori, Madelyn, Rowen and Jude; his father-in-law Earl Snyder Sr.; his siblings, Brian Hollis (Jackie), Steven Hollis (Julie) and Mary Weese (Dwain); and his siblings-in-law, Brian Zolo, Susan Turnbull and Earl Snyder Jr. (Karen). He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Central Congregational Church (71 Park St, Madison, OH 44057). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in Gerald's name to the Madison Senior Center, 2938 Hubbard Rd., Madison, OH., 44057.
