We announce the death of James Charles Spragg of Madison, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 85. James Charles will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Spragg; and his children, Sheila Spragg, James Spragg and Pamela Simerlink (Spragg). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Curtis, Jonathan Simerlink (Stephanie), Justin Simerlink, Kyle Spragg, Jacob Spragg and Nicole Spragg; and his great grandchildren, Hunter, Christian Simerlink, Delcie Rose, Brooklynn Grace and Theodore Simerlink.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Legion Post 601.
