He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Dean and Phyllis Dean (McClelland); his wife Diana; his son Joe; and his brother David.
He is survived by: his son Patrick; his stepchildren, Audrey Stamper, Jennifer and Richard Stamper; and his siblings, Kathy, Cindy, Janet, Cheryl, Arthur Jr., Charles and Eric. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
