She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Nethken and Della Mae Nethken; her husband Grant Layman; her children, Joseph, Carl, Wilma (Rabbitts) and Thomas Layman; and her siblings, Winston, Howard, Joseph, Ernest, Frieda and Martha.
She is survived by: her children, David (Diana) and Rebecca Buck. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
