She was predeceased by: her former husband Alex Gilbert; her husband Donald Elkins; her son Ron Gilbert (Pam); her grandson Brandon Gilbert; her parents, Robert Bryan Combs and Hazel Combs; and her sisters, Doris Stubblefield and Beatrice Combs.
She is survived by: her sons, Glenn Gilbert (Janet), Bobby Gilbert (Angie) and Billy Gilbert (Virginia). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Miami Cemetery (6379 Corwin Ave, Waynesville, OH 45068).
