He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Birmingham; his stepchildren, Max Dunlop and Victoria Wagner; and his parents, Leona Goldfarb Attenberg and Herbert J. Attenberg.
He is survived by: his sons, Josh Attenberg and Trevor Attenberg; his daughter-in-law Xiaoyun Ji; his stepdaughter Sybil Dunlop; his grandchildren, Justin Heinsohn and Roan Attenberg; and his cousins, Louise Weintraub Linsky, Bobby Weintraub and Trudy Swenson.
