Pavittar Kaur Tuli, 79, of Maineville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on November 1, 1945, in Nairobi, Kenya, Pavittar was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, humor, and vibrant spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Kuljit Singh Tuli, and her children, Raj-Paul Singh (Carrie) Tuli and Jesspreet Kaur Tuli. Pavittar was a treasured grandmother to Prajbir Singh and Somiya Kaur, whose lives she enriched with unconditional love, encouragement, and boundless pride. She is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, extended family, and a wide circle of friends.
Pavittar was preceded in death by her parents, Karam Singh and Jagjit Kaur Cheema, whose values of integrity and compassion she carried forward throughout her life.
With a Master's degree in Biochemistry, Pavittar pursued a successful career in the medical field before dedicating herself fully to raising her family -a role in which she found profound purpose and joy. Her keen intellect, generous spirit, and infectious sense of humor made her a source of wisdom and comfort to many. Among her friends, she was affectionately known as a "big sister," always ready with an open heart and a listening ear.
She approached life with genuine enthusiasm, immersing herself in the activities she loved, including travel, cooking, managing investments, and reading.
Pavittar's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered for the love she shared and the impact she had on the lives of her family and friends.
A Celebration of Pavittar's Life will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Spring Grove Funeral Homes, 4389 Spring Grove Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45223. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
