She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Anderson and Marie Anderson (Hefflinger); her husband Walter Shanks; her son Sammy; her great grandchild Bailey Jean; her sister Marlene Kryder (Dan); and her sister-in-law Terri Anderson.

She is survived by: her sons, Robert (Henrietta), Andrew (Susan) and Adam (Shasta); and her brother Michael Anderson. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Harvest Fellowship, Henry County Humane Society or Vancrest of Holgate.
