He was predeceased by : his parents, Carlos Gheen and Mary Lawrence Gheen; and his siblings, Ruth Ann Palmer, Raymond Gheen, Carlos Richard Gheen, Jimmy Gheen and Richard Lee "Buck" Gheen.

He is survived by : his daughter Amanda Gurley of Arizona; and his sisters, Donna Dixon of Stockport, Bonnie Matson (David) of Stockport and Linda Wells (late Jerry) of Stockport. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
