She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Howarth and Myra Plum (Riegler); her stepfather Arden Plum; her son William Q McCauley II; and her siblings, Carolyn Ailing and Chet Howarth.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Thomas Thayer of Malvern; her children, Mabel Greenlief of Newport, TN, Myra Lynch (Terry) of Carrollton, Martha Asplin (Charles) of Carrollton, Christine Smith (Mart) of Mechanicstown, Wendy Donze (Mark) of Uniontown and Scott Thayer (Kristine) of Portland, OR; and her brother Guy Howarth. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many great-great grandchildren.
