The memory of Raymond George Thompson of Malvern, Ohio, who passed away on October 20, 2025 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thompson and Pearl Thompson (Hamberg); his wife Kathryn Thompson (Eberly); and his sister Barb Medved. He is survived by: his children, Ray Jr. Thompson (Sheri), Lisa McKown (Jeff) and Vincent Thompson; his grandchildren, Reed Thompson, Alaina Blackburn (Philip), Adrianna, Sophia Thompson, Joe Davis (Chrissy) and Raye-Ann Essex (Harley); his great grandchildren, Jethro, Jericho, Kinsley Davis and Ilah Blackburn; and his sister Shirley Osborn.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home (206 E Lincolnway, Minerva, OH 44657). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
