She was predeceased by: her father James Koontz II. She is survived by: her mother Elissa Koontz (Taggart) of Malvern; her children, Shyann Bailey and Darnell Jackson of Malvern; her siblings, Tasha Koontz of Mogadore, Katie Best (Christian), Tony Koontz (Jessica) of Akron, James Koontz III (Rachel) of Massillon, Mitchell Koontz of Massillon and Jordan Koontz of Minerva; and her close friend Natalie DeLong.
