She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Peterson and Mary Peterson (Planck); her husband Clarence Junior Shelton; and her daughters, Ellen and Carol.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Webb (Peterson) of Winter Garden, Florida; her children, Douglas Eugene (Teresa Shelton) of Manchester, David Alan (Saundra Shelton) of Winchester and Donna Faye (Newbraugh); her grandchildren, Jeremiah Shelton (Angel), Elijah Shelton (Mary), Mary Cornell (Jason) and Carol Newbraugh; and her great grandchildren, Thomas, Lucas, Legend, Sutton, Emma, Katelynn, Brian, Ally and Lindsay.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Hope or Operation Christmas Child.
