Alan Lee Kitzmiller Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert L. Kitzmiller and Florence Kitzmiller (Moyer); his siblings, Robert Eugene Moyer, Patricia Ann Matney, Sandra Irene Yunker and Shirley Mae Cunningham; his grandson Hunter Alan Tackett; his father-in-law Glen Dixon; his nephews, Albert Leroy McCrea and William Kitzmiller; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Kitzmiller, Gail Spring and Larry Matney.

He is survived by: his cousin Fred Beer; his wife Glenda Prendergast Kitzmiller (Dixon); his children, Lee Kitzmiller, Jason Kitzmiller, Scott Grogg, Brandy Kitzmiller, Ashley Kniceley (Andy), Michael Prendergast, Lily Pugh, Kayla Tackett (Matthew) and Abigail "Abbey" Kitzmiller; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kitzmiller, Becca Miller (Charles Terry), Scott Miller, Jackson Kniceley, Junior Pugh, Bentley Tackett, Izabella Tackett and Thomas Tackett; his great grandchildren, Niklaus, Bonnie, Madyson and Anna-Marie Miller; his siblings, Jim Kitzmiller and Jeanne Maglott; his mother-in-law Janie Dixon; and his siblings-in-law, Leonard and Amanda Dixon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Snyder Funeral Homes, Bellville Butler Chapel (81 Mill Rd, Bellville, OH 44813). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Mansfield Cemetery (389 Altamont Ave, Mansfield, OH 44902).
